Terms and Conditions

Order Electric Blinds is a trading name of Order Blinds Online Ltd.


  1.  Product Specification:
  1. Photography and descriptions: The products we sell are either photographed or digitally produced and are accurately displayed on the website, however, due to different light and colour settings between computer monitors we are unable to guarantee the image will display the same on every computer. Due to this we strongly advise that you request a free sample before placing your order to ensure that you are happy with the colour and also quality before ordering.
  2. Textiles and dye batches: As fabrics and textiles in general are generally dyed, we cannot guarantee that a shade or colour will not vary over time as the product may come from a different dye batch. Whilst every attempt is made to represent the product accurately, any minor or immaterial variation between the sample, photograph or description shall not entitle you to reject a product.
  3. Using the measuring guide: All the products we sell are made to measure according to your sizes provided. It is your responsibility to take accurate measurement, suitable for your requirements. We cannot accept returns or refund the money if you have given us incorrect measurements as we will not be able to resell the goods as they are made to measure.
  4. All measurements are manufactured in centimetres only.
  5. Product Tolerance: Whilst all our blinds are made to measure, due to the custom nature of these products we have a +/- 3mm tolerance on all exact size, fabric width and recess size orders. Whilst our highly skilled professionals are as accurate as possible, this 3mm tolerance is due to the machinery and blades used to cut fabrics, hardware and wooden slats to size. If the blind is within the correct size and tolerance, we are unable to replace the blind or accept a return on this item.
  6. You as the consumer are responsible for determining if the product is suitable for your requirements. 


  1. Payment and cancellation:

Payment can be made via bank transfer, debit, credit card or via Paypal. We do not store credit card details and use 3rd party merchant providers to process payments. By purchasing blinds from Order Blinds you are entering a legally binding contract with us.

All of our made to measure products fall under the tailor made section of the Consumer Contract Regulations 2014 and as such are exempt from this legislation and the 14-day cancellation rights. If you need to cancel your order you should telephone us on 0800 1488229 as soon as possible. Providing the production process has not begun a cancellation will be possible. If production of your blinds has begun it will not be possible to cancel your order. Refunds can take up to 14 days to show on your statement once processed by Order Blinds.


  1. Prices and Delivery:

All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT. An order is not considered an order or will be released for production until it has been paid for in full.

Discount codes should be used at the time of ordering via the 'Enter Promotion Code' box during checkout. The discount value cannot be added retrospectively or reimbursed after the order has been placed.

Delivery to certain areas that we can deliver to including Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Southern Ireland may incur additional delivery fees which will be displayed to you prior to placing the order.


  1. Acceptance of order.

We have the right to cancel your order if:

  1. Goods are not available, for example if they are unbeknown to us discontinued in which case we may offer a substitute of the same type and quality. You will be notified of this substitution by e-mail or telephone before production is begun and will only begin production if you are happy to continue with the order. You will have an opportunity to cancel the order and receive a refund if the substitute goods are not acceptable.
  2. It is logistically impossible for us to deliver the goods to the delivery address provided.
  3. If an item on the website has been under priced through error, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price. We will inform you of the correct price before beginning production on the item to you so that you may decide whether you wish to go ahead with the purchase. If you decide to cancel the order, you will receive a refund.


If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item we will contact you via telephone and or email as soon as possible. No discounts or compensation can be offered under these unforeseen circumstances.


  1. Delivery:

We specify an estimated dispatch timescale on each product page. Please be aware that all date ranges are in working days from the order being placed (paid for in full). Bank holidays are not considered working days.

If there is a problem that would cause your product being dispatched outside of this timescale we will endeavour to notify you as soon as possible but shall not be liable for loss occasioned by delay in delivery.

If you are using a blind fitter, we do not recommend booking a fitter until the blinds have arrived and they have been inspected to ensure there are no defects and everything is present.

All Blinds are delivered by a reputable national carrier and will require a signature to confirm delivery. The carrier can then provide us with a signed copy proof of delivery and this will be accepted as confirmation of safe delivery.

Our carrier will only leave a parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour if you instruct them to do so. You can do this either via the delivery instructions box when checking out or by liaising directly with the courier by responding to a delivery email, text message or by going onto their website with the tracking information. If the parcel is delivered to your nominated neighbour or left in your designated safe place it is considered delivered successfully. If the product is subsequently stolen from your safe place or neighbour, we will not be liable for the stolen goods as they were left in the safe place under your instruction.


  1. Returns and Replacements

All of our blinds are rigorously quality checked prior to dispatch but in the unlikely event that a product is made incorrectly, has a defect or arrives damaged you should contact us immediately either via email at info@orderblinds.co.uk  or you can telephone our customer service team on 0800 1488229. You have 14 days following receipt of your goods to report any damaged or defective goods due to manufacturing, or damage caused while being in the delivery process. In this event we will deal with your queries promptly and where necessary replace the affected component or blind/s without delay. We reserve the right to ask for digital pictures with regards to the issues reported or to ask for the product to be returned to us for inspection.

When organising a remake / replacement of a blind we cannot change any details from the original order, it must be a replacement on a like for like basis. This does not affect your statutory rights.


  1. Product warranty

Every Blind attracts a 12 month product warranty against manufacturing defects. Certain products in our ranges have longer warranties than this period which will be stated in the product description.

We reserve the right to repair or replace the product and it may be necessary to return the goods to us for inspection prior to a replacement being dispatched.

If any product has been repaired, tampered with or fixed by a third party this voids the product warranty.

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights.


  1. Secure shopping

You can be assured that Order Blinds have installed the latest technology from Paypal Merchant Services and Sage to ensure the most reliable and secure checkout system available. We do not store your credit or debit card details and use 3rd party merchant providers to process your payment.


  1. Privacy policy

Order Blinds Online Ltd do not disclose buyers information to third parties.
