Solux Battery Pack Recall October 2022

We have been informed by the manufacturer of a possible issue involving Solux battery packs from a particular batch sent out in 2021 and 2022.

Although no problems have been reported in the UK, a fire hazard was reported on a single battery pack in another country and so to avoid any possible risk to our customers we wish to replace any motors we have supplied from this batch.

This image shows the Solux battery pack affected by the recall.

We ask that you check the battery pack fitted to your blind to see if it matches the image shown above, and if it does please complete the form below including a photograph of your battery pack.

We will then confirm within 2 working days if you require a replacement and if so will send one to your confirmed address free of charge.

The existing battery pack can be disposed of in the appropriate manner, for example at your local refuse site.

Please be advised that this issue relates only to select Solux battery packs, it does not affect products from our other motorisation brand Somfy.
